Wolverine and the X-Men is an animated action series from 2009 that follows the mutant team after Professor Xavier mysteriously disappears following an attack on their school. With their leader missing, Wolverine takes charge of bringing the scattered X-Men back together to uncover what happened and rescue Xavier from danger. The team faces threats from the Sentinel Project and the Brotherhood of Mutants while discovering that Xavier is alive but in a comatose state, communicating with them from a future timeline where he has regained consciousness. Featuring voice work by Fred Tatasciore, Jim Ward, Kari Wahlgren, Nolan North, and Steve Blum, the series blends action and drama as the X-Men confront new challenges in their mission to save their mentor.
