Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is a 2009 fantasy-action prequel directed by Patrick Tatopoulos that explores the origins of the vampire-werewolf conflict. Michael Sheen stars as Lucian, a young werewolf who rises to lead his enslaved race in rebellion against the tyrannical vampire lord Viktor, played by Bill Nighy.
