Savages is a 2012 crime thriller directed by Oliver Stone and based on Don Winslow’s novel. The film follows two marijuana entrepreneurs operating in a California beach town whose business attracts the attention of a ruthless Mexican drug cartel. When the cartel kidnaps their shared girlfriend, the friends find themselves caught in an escalating conflict as they attempt a dangerous rescue. The ensemble cast includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Blake Lively, Benicio Del Toro, Emile Hirsch, and Demián Bichir.

This two-disc Blu-ray release from Universal Pictures contains the theatrical version with a runtime of two hours and eleven minutes, rated R for violence, language, and drug use. Special features include deleted scenes, a featurette called Stone Cold Savages, and commentary tracks featuring director Oliver Stone and a second track with producers and screenwriters.
