Highlander is a 1986 fantasy-action film directed by Russell Mulcahy and starring Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish warrior born in the Highlands in 1518. When Connor survives a battle wound that should have killed him, he is cast out from his village and encounters Ramirez, another immortal who teaches him the ancient ways of his kind. According to immortal law, the only way to kill one of their own is by taking their head, and Connor must master swordsmanship to survive. The film follows Connor through the centuries as he prepares for “The Gathering,” a final confrontation in modern-day New York City where the last remaining immortals battle for a legendary prize.

This is the Director’s Cut on a single DVD, running 110 minutes and rated R. Released by Twentieth Century Fox, this edition presents the film as Mulcahy envisioned it. You can own this used copy of a cult favorite action-fantasy at a fraction of retail cost.
