Steven Spielberg directed this 1982 sci-fi adventure about a boy named Elliott who discovers a gentle alien stranded in suburban California. Elliott befriends the extraterrestrial visitor and introduces E.T. to his siblings, brother Michael and sister Gertie. The three children work together to hide the alien from authorities while helping it communicate with its home planet. As E.T. becomes ill, government forces close in, putting both the boy and the alien in grave danger.

This is a single-disc DVD edition from Universal Pictures with a runtime of one hour fifty-five minutes and a PG rating.
