With both major hits and rediscovered tracks from a wide spectrum of artists, from Chuck Berry, Dusty Springfield and Sonny & Cher (“I Got You Babe” is heard over the end credits of the Season Four finale) to Dean Martin, Jackie Wilson, Tom Jones, Roger Miller and Ella Fitzgerald, Mad Men: A Musical Companion (1960-1965) exudes the romance and innocence of much of the music of the time, often used to great ironic effect in the series.
