Jean Rochefort stars as Victor Frankenstein in this offbeat version of the often told Mary Shelley tale. Here, Frankenstein is a cybernetics genius who creates a monster with an unnatural interest in philosophy and etiquette but is prone to bouts of blind rage. Enamored with his soulful creation, Frankenstein is understanding when his monster develops a longing for a companion.
