Meeting & Greeting covers the basics of interacting with friends and acquaintances. Four key social skills are introduced: meeting and introducing yourself to new people, greeting and saying hello to people you already know, talking with friends, and saying goodbye to friends. Each skill is introduced by a child narrator and illustrated step by step. The skill is then reinforced by three vignettes which also model the skill. The DVD is structured so that it can be watched as a whole, or practiced skill by skill. This video is useful for any child that needs to develop social skills, but is a must-have for children on the autism spectrum.
