Milos Forman directed this 1975 drama starring Jack Nicholson as Randle P. McMurphy, a cunning con artist who feigns mental illness to escape a prison sentence. Upon arrival at a state mental hospital, McMurphy’s rebellious spirit and refusal to accept the ward’s oppressive routine put him directly at odds with Nurse Ratched, the coldly authoritarian head nurse played by Louise Fletcher. Based on Ken Kesey’s novel, the film explores the clash between McMurphy’s infectious defiance and the dehumanizing system designed to control the patients around him. The supporting cast includes Brad Dourif, Danny DeVito, and Christopher Lloyd.

This special edition comes on two DVDs with a runtime of two hours and thirteen minutes and carries an R rating from United Artists. A used copy of this acclaimed drama is yours to keep at a fraction of retail cost.
