When you keep in mind that Joey Lawrence was just about to turn 17 when his debut album was released 2nd February 1993 it absolutely showes that he had (and still has) talent in this field. Containing a wide variety of music styles the album absolutely has range and has something for just about every age group. Those that have followed this young actor/singer (becoming 25 years of age this year) for a while will also know his second album “Soulmates” from 1997, also with a wide variety of music and showing how Joey Lawrence’s music is maturing. Especially notable is the melody “Time” which is even now played quite frequently in these parts of the world, four years after it was released. Both his self-titled album and “Soulmates” are absolutely worth a listen.
